Default A question about the "big problem" annouced today

When you mention about the Munchkin Cthulhu low stock, only talk of Munchkin Cthulhu core game or all the Cthulhu series?

I want to take all the Cthulhu series complete NOW, not waiting until 2011, but buying from USA is slow and expensive, and man, no way for these games arriving to UK...

See ya

It's just the core set. For now. If y'all keep buying stuff in record numbers, though, all bets are off.

I'm a bit confused - it mentions that the +6 Bag O' Munchkin d6 is selling out [along with the others] less than a month after they started shipping, but it is still listed on worldofmunchkin and warehouse23 as "At the printer". I'm not sure if they're shipping or if w23 is right and they're not yet.

Any insight?

No, it says LESS than a month after the warehouse (not Warehouse23) started shipping them. Products ship from the warehouse in Atlanta to distributors and W23. W23 then starts shipping to its customers (you and me), while distributors start shipping to theirs (stores, both Internet and brick-and-mortar). We've discussed this a number of times here, and what has been said is that when anything starts shipping from the warehouse, it could take a week or so for product to start shipping from W23, and depending on the distance from the warehouse to a distributor, and then the distributor's distance from its customers, a week to two to three or four before it shows up in stores.

I'm not sure why the W23 status hasn't changed, but that's a question for them on their forum, not necessarily Andrew or I on this one.

Because they haven't arrived at W23 yet.

I've been told (by reliable sources over the years) that products switch to "New Release" when they are on their way from the Atlanta warehouse and I've been told that they switch to "New Release" when they get into W23, so I chose not to speculate. If the latter is the correct case, then that's what I'll go with in the future.

They change to "New Release" on the SJ Games site when they start shipping from Atlanta. They change to "New Release" on W23 when we start shipping them from W23.
