Default Help Warp

Hi,

I'm new at GURPS and I was wondering.
If I create a character with the power Warp does he need the skill Body Sense, or some other similar, to act in combat after teleporting behind someone?

Thanks!

In general, yes. See the description of the Body Sense skill (B181).

("Warp" is the name of the Advantage for what people usually call "teleport". No doubt there's an interesting historical reason for that term :))

Not that I know of. It just showed up out of the blue in 4e. I could speculate about eh way it's trying to mash short-range "teleports" with spaceship "hyperdrives" and cover both but it would be speculation.

Gyroscopic enhancement from Psionic Powers P18 eliminates the Body Sense roll. Much better than a heavy investment in a DX/Hard skill to let yourself roll three times for your attack, warp, body sense, attack.
