Re: Real-Life Weirdness
What if you were in an armed standoff with the government, and refused to believe it was over?
It's not the main point of this article, but: * Man charged with assaulting a state trooper in 1999, released on bond in January 2000, returns to his property and arms up * family supports him and people drop off food and supplies * wary of casualties, successive local sheriffs have kept an eye on the place but never initiated a confrontation. * In December 2014, the district attorney dropped the charges right before leaving office. * Neither the current sheriff nor the fugitive knew; when told by a New York Times reporter, the sheriff was relieved. * And as for the fugitive's family and his compound? For those who have always wanted to play music to their babies while they're still in the womb. Why did this need to be a thing?

World political boundaries through history-
http://www.runningreality.org/ Sometimes a bit spotty, but looks useful. An animation feature would also be nice. Also a nice collection of historical maps, mainly Japanese. Navigation is mainly in Japanese, but you mind find something neat. http://www.zenrin.co.jp/zvm/
