My bad. I misread the '!' as punctuation.

You are correct, at least about the lockpicking. He had a keycard on his way out but he may have picked it up in the building so you could very well be right about the other.

Pre-internet? Definitely true. Now? Not so much.

I hadn't thought about it quite like that. I was basing this on Observation and Tactics. Either works.

Google returns 0 results for " a public place with lots of foot traffic; hustle and bustle; multiple entry and exit points". The skill you want for that is Area Knowledge or Urban Survival.

But Google will return plenty of results, for Bus Station in City X, or Train Station in City Y. And knowing that those are usually places with lost of people and hustle and bustle and multiple exits is not area knowledge. That's sort of general knowledge. Knowing which one of those is closest to you, or is the busiest at a specific time of day, or what exit from said station you are closest too at any specific time, that is area knowledge. Knowing the bus schedules, that's area knowledge, but also easily found on google.

FWIW, I don't really see a problem with an IQ 13-14 Bourne. Agencies that recruit and train these sorts of people would select for and encourage versatile, adaptable, perceptive, smart people, with good self control (all things that GURPS IQ represents; I wouldn't bother with IQ! nonsense). Especially cinematic agencies.

Well, it did. Now it brings up this thread. And somewhere, a very confused Jason Bourne is wondering why the hell there's a gaming thread about him.

Actually, Bourne vs. the Punisher would be a killer crossover.

The Jason Bourne finds out he was a character played by Matt Damon. Bourne drops by to beat the crap out of Damon. Jason Bourne gets played by no man.
