Just stumbled across this, great adventure. Stripe you should try submitting some of your written adventures to Pyramid!

In my last DF campaign, the players were so freaked out about dragons that they went out of their way (to the extent of recruiting one of the major campaign antagonists) in order to negotiate with a dragon rather than have to fight it.

I will be ripping this with some modifications (replacing the dragon with something from my campaign's larger plot) sometime in the near future. We have 4 PC's who are currently at around 180 CP, using the rules from DF on the Cheap. Any advice on balancing the adventure accordingly? I am particularly concerned about giving the party chances to rest, as the two casters haven't had time to buy up their FP yet and thus have to be very conservative in their spell use. They also have no dedicated healer (one PC knows Minor Healing at skill 14). I will probably be adding some healing potions to the available loot, but any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Also, while I can probably figure it out, did I miss somewhere explaining where the numbers in the description were placed on the map?

Sorry, I don't frequent these forums any longer. Someone just told me there was activity here.

There was a GM map with a key at one point, but I really don't have any idea where any of this stuff is anymore.

I haven't read the OP in a few years, but I know it wasn't well designed or balanced. I had no experience running DF dungeons when I wrote this back in 2013. If you look through some of those posts I linked, I am very clear that I had never ran a DF dungeon before. Though I've been GM'ing for 25 years now, and have GM'ed for dozens of players, my games were always story or plot-driven.

I'd say that someday, I'll re-write this, but I doubt that will ever happen.

I will, however, publish a full dungeon with GM key sometime, but it will be for the new DFRPG.

My dungeon cartography artwork has improved dramatically as well . . .
