Default Question on securing loose fittings

I've got a few of the Ogres/larger vehicles from the Kickstarter set that are a just a bit "loose". Wanted to see if anyone had used any type of glue to secure these a little better.

I would think that Elmer's would work fine, but didn't want to mess up the artwork in any way. Since the wonderful trays were provided to store them, I see no need to ever take them apart.

Thanks for any input!

Try a tiny dot of ticky tacky.

A dab of rubber cement on the inside of the cut should give you what you need.

I would put a small drop of white glue (Elmer's or equivalent) in the end of the slot and assemble. The bond between the exposed fibers in the ends of the cuts should be stronger than a bond with the coated surface paper, and any excess white glue should cure more or less transparent.

I've only got one or two 3D models in the whole set that need this, anyway.

Thanks for the input from everyone! I actually ended up using an Elmer's glue pen (per twb3's suggestion), and it worked perfectly! I only have a couple that need this as well.

No worries Phil...I promise to NEVER take them apart!

The chipboard edges will start to wear, and possibly fray, and you'll have more and more trouble putting them back together without damaging the pieces.
