Default How small is a 4 pts in attributes elemental?

Looking at the possibility of an infernal combustion engine. ST 2 DX 0 IQ 0 HT 2 fire elemental. I'm trying to figure how many I can fit into a steel box.

Looking at the information on DF3:12, we see that a Celestial has (11 ST, 11 DX, 11 IQ, 11 HT) 44 levels in attributes. They are 1/2 angel, so a full angel would be 88 levels. Assuming that attribute levels correspond to size, and that elementals are approximately as dense as angels, there are 22 such elementals to the angel. We can guestimate that the head of a pin is 1/128th of an inch-cubed.

So, the number of 4-levels of attributes elementals that can fit in a steel box is:
(N*22/128) * (capacity of the box in cubic inches)

The exact value of N is still under debate by theologians, so I'd suggest that the GM handwave a value and call it good.

ST 2 is good for a large rodent or mid-sized bird (smaller than a hunting falcon, though). How big's the box?

In theory, as many as you like. But in practice, only as many as there is room for.

I'm shooting for 9 square feet or a rectangular hex if I can. Ideally I'd be able to put 9 brainless motionless perpetual 1d fire auraing elementals into the box. Ought to be enough to melt steel for forging items etc.
