Default GURPS Space: PC utils to record planets?

What do you find useful for generating and/or keeping records on your planets and systems in your campaign (besides paper)?

Using the GURPS Space planetary/system generation rules is one thing, but keeping those records on my computer is a goal I have and can never seem to do it. So I fudge and use other tools, mainly because they work faster and give me reasonable results (for my use, anyway).

For quick and dirty star systems, I sometimes use Misersoft's Solar System Generator.

But that lacks recording any significant details about the planets. So I use some home-made gizmos for that.

Has anyone come across anything useful for their campaigns? Of course there's Astrosynthesis and programs like that... but I'm on a budget here. Freeware takes precedence. I used Its Full of Stars for a while, but I found its' metric-centric system and odd naming algorithm annoying.

Other Suggestions?
