AT-Prismo's Pickles

Does the card Prismo's Pickles work in your hand when you kick down the door and you get the curse Discard your Hand? Since it changes who kicked down the door, but another player argued that the curse resolves immediately.

Would Prismo's Pickles also work on The Lich even though you can't affect any side but prismo does make it so that player never kicked down the door at all.

Normally, yes, the Curse would affect you immediately, but Prismo's Pickles specifically switches the turn to someone else after someone has kicked open a door. Therefore, it can be played by you after you kick open a door and find a Curse to have that Curse affect someone else. However, it's now that player's turn, not yours.
