But yes, a very good read. John Lumpkin has a second novel out in the same setting, a sequel to "Through Struggle, The Stars" called "Desert of Stars", and is working on a third.

I will get the sequels for sure once I have finished his first book. It's the first sci-fi novel that I really enjoy since quite some time.
