Fu 2 is not out of print so you may want to find a copy of it sooner rather than later.

You mean it IS out of print. Unless things have changed in the last couple weeks that is.

I know a lot of people would stone me for this. I really really like Munchkin Impossible. It mixes really well with Bites. I call the combo "Angle". You know like the vampire show from the late 90s.

Out of all munchkins i have played me and my mates agrees that the original is the most fun.

BUT it requires expansions and more than one. The absolute MUST have expansions if you have the original are #4 and #6. The 6 just makes it so much more interesting in each and every way since the dungeons are in play all the time and they effect each player which makes up for more oppertunities to sabotage and also more tactics overall

I have
Munckin (w 2 & 3)
Star Munchkin
Super Munchkin
Munchkin Booty.

Right now I really prefer Munchkin Booty. Having the ships is kind of like having Munchkin:Need for Steed, and the fun is really enhanced when people try to do pirate talk based on their Accent/Class. There is even an expansion out for it, Munchkin Booty 2:Jumping the Shark which sounds hilarious.

We just managed to grab Booty 2 and it is hilarious! Adds some good stuff.

We have:

Munchkin 1,2,3,6
Booty 1,2
Super 1,2

I love them all. They are each unique.

Original seems to take longer and build up slowly. Super, you seem to build up level bonuses very fast and the games seem to go quick.

Booty seems to be about in the middle.

All are fun.

We can't decide which to get next actually; we keep debating. My friend said he may snag Fu 1 and 2 today since 2 is OOP. I'm hoping to get some deals at Gen-Con and I wouldn't mind coming home with all the rest of 'em. I'd like to play them all individually and then snag blender and start some chaos....hehehehehe....

As an aside, I love the fact that the CCG's we used to play, I'd plunk down about $350 a set, 4 times a year. For that much, I could about have all of the Munchkin sets. That is so great!

Now obviously it was either a joke or a glitch. If it was a joke, we have not found the prankster. If it was a glitch, oh well. :-D

I've found that for quick games, Star Munchkin rules. Cthulu has some particularly nasty ways to mess with the other players. No experience with the other sets (aside from the base set of course).

My vote goes to Star Munchkin.

edit- I've found that when I play abbreviated games at lunch (go to 5th or 7th level vs 10th) we almost always have a winner within an hour's time using Star. Playing either base Munchkin or Cthuhlu we get a winner about 1/5 or so games or less. This is due largely to 2 factors having to do with Star Munchkin- there aren't anywhere near as many monster enhancing cards in Star as the other sets (that I've played at any rate) and the Space Ranger class is almost like a kneepads of allure class- with the side effect that the player must discard their hand to power the ability. For those 2 reasons, you can basically win the game fairly easily.
