Melee Spells with Spellslinger
The first paragraph of Spellslinger (Pyramid #109) says:
Quote:
I believe that where I read Incantation Gift in the standard magic system would be swapped by Magery (or whatever casting talent you have like Deathliness for example). It says to add the lesser of Accuracy or your talent, but Accuracy isn't applicable for melee attacks. Would it be correct to assume that if I use a melee touch spell like Paralyze Limb or Deathtouch, I would add my Magery in the touch attack? Also, about the last part of the first paragraph, would that substitute my brawling skill for my spell skill modified by DX to attack? Will my talent bonus mentioned in the previous sentence added to the attack?

Re: Melee Spells with Spellslinger
(As I read it) For a melee spell, roll against the higher of:
DX-based Spell (already includes Talent bonus) Melee skill (usu. Brawling, Karate, or Staff) + Magery
