Limited magery
If it's possible, how would I go about inputting combined magery and limited magery so the spell levels work?

Re: Limited magery
Those are standard modifiers on Magery. Limited (One College) is in the Basic Set data file, Limited (two-four Colleges) is in the Thaumaturgy data file. Just add Magery to the character, select it in the right-hand pane, and click the Modifiers button (with the wrench icon, in the lower-right corner). Then add the modifier to Magery.

Re: Limited magery
Sorry, I don't see it. I have Basic Set and Thaumaturgy (only) loaded and I'm not getting college magery as a modifier.
This might not work anyway. The wizard in question specializes in cold. So, mostly water but not all, plus Resist Cold and Cold which are in Fire. I may have to do it manually.

It is here. (This links to an image.) Sounds like you have a custom college, so you would have to do some work, yes.

If you change the base files you're working with for a character, not everything will match up, because characters are designed to include pretty much everything they need, so they can be edited correctly on machines that may not have all the correct data files. What you need to do is Resync the character to match the data files you're now working with. With that character loaded and active in the workspace, click the Tools menu and pick Resynchronize.... In the Resync window, leave everything on the left side checked, and check everything on the right side that might need to be updated. In this case, that is absolutely Advantages, so check that and any (or all) of the others. Click OK. GCA will resync the stuff on the character to better match the stuff in the system lists from the data files. Your Magery should now match what the data files expect, and should match my image from the previous post when you click Modifiers for it. (Alternatively, you can just resync the stuff on the left side, and then delete and re-add Magery or any other magic related stuff, as it will be adding stuff from the new data files and will be correct right off.)

Re: Limited magery
That worked, thanks. I'll need to make a unique college for it now that it works.
