Re: Munchkin Quest 2 Looking For Trouble Size
Close up pics of the Stowaway.
You could use a smaller one, but this one makes everything fit nicely in the box with very little sliding room. Plus it has plenty of extra room in it. As you will notice that in the picture of the contents of it, on the very right hand side there is 8 extra munchkin pawns. I let my players keep the pawns they use during my demo's if they want, so those are whats left of a demo plus another whole +6 bag of munchkins. Last edited by Cheese8242; 02-12-2009 at 06:45 PM. |

Re: Munchkin Quest 2 Looking For Trouble Size
If I may offer an alternative theory toward storage, I don't like the idea of keeping (e.g.) all of the dice together, all of the pawns together, and so on. In addition to the tiles and extra pieces, I keep six Ziploc baggies in my box. Each has 3 Move, 4 Health, 300 GP, and the bases, pawn, dice, and level counter for a single color. This way, I can open the box, toss a bag to each player and start playing immediately without sorting a single thing. I just grab the cards, set aside the other baggies (with the extra Move, extra Health, various tokens separated by bag), dump the tiles and links into the lid, and roll to see who goes first. Having played with my set, and played with a set where everything was divided up by type of token, I have to say that having it prebagged for each player leads to noticeably shorter setup time.

I can always just add the hearts, feet, and gold pieces to compartments that hold the pawns, dice, and bases. There is plenty of room in each colors compartment. It wouldn't be as easy as yours is, but a big reason I went and got the stowaway was to cut down on all the baggies in the box. |

Well, she finished them tonight. Four bags in total, two for rooms and two for links. You can see them here. One bag, the planet one for rooms, still needs a draw string added to it. But other than that they are done. I think they came out pretty nice. They are also a little big, so that they can handle a few more expansions. ;) |
