To prevent confusion that might arise otherwise, it may be prudent to have some sort of directional indicator on such links so as to indicate where exactly someone would go when coming out of a portal.

I'm undecided upon whether or not monsters would/could go through the portals. Right now my idea is that monsters of the same base color as the portal go through the portal; otherwise, they treat it as an open hallway.
That's kind of a neat idea! I like it!

Thanks

I might test this idea out as a house rule with one of the groups I game with. Magic Portals are a pretty standard staple of dungeon crawling, so it seems natural that Munchkin Quest would have such a thing.

According to +6 Bag O' Munchkin Babes:

Hooray! But I can't find any news abut this. Is there any to be had? I wait with bated breath...

There is news, actually, scheduled to be posted in the Illuminator next week. But the short version is we've delayed that project because we ran into rule problems that we needed to step away from and think about for a while. We have something else ready to slot in, probably this summer, but that's all I can say for now.

We were hoping to sell it soon. Unfortunately, 2010 is shaping up to have lots of reprints in addition to our new product releases, and while reprints aren't new hotness, they do still take some time to get right. (And as long as Munchkin sells, we're going to keep it in print.)

So a full-size MQ expansion looks unlikely this year, but we're thinking about ways to support the game with smaller, focused releases that we can squeeze between all the other cool things we're doing.

You, know, I'd love all sorts of little things. I loved FD and WFS; those were very cool. Little silly packs or tiles like that for Quest could be cool.

I know it's the wrong forum, but little expansion packs for some of the other genres would be cool too, but I'm sure sales wouldn't dictate those.

There will be a Munchkin Quest expansion this year. But since we haven't announced it yet, that's all I can say about it at this time.
