Re: [Sorcery] Novice's Weather Dome
Wall 2 lets you fashion the wall however you want, so that's not a problem. Although I don't think you'll be able to close the door, but an ability to make minor alterations like that probably wouldn't be more than +10% or so.

Re: [Sorcery] Novice's Weather Dome
I think I phrased it badly, because 'can't close the door' was (part of) my point. 'Minor Alterations, +10%' does seem reasonable, though.

I also don't see why you can't use a 1-point wall (costs as 0.25 dice), which would have DR0, HP1 for the tent, reducing the cost to [5] ([6] if needing +10% for a door), and [1] or [2] as an alternate ability. Even with the door it'd be a 1-point spell once you include the Sorcery limitation, and it's a reasonable size tent.

Re: [Sorcery] Novice's Weather Dome
I had forgotten about its existence but Magical Styles has the Eye of the Storm perk that makes weather effects one step less severe on the table on M194 and gives +1 to HT rolls related to weather.
Would it be possible to somehow modify this perk for the purpose at hand? |
