As you all know, we've recently revamped our online catalog at Warehouse 23. Like any project of this size, we've been fighting a few software bugs; rather than release this week's Pyramid and risk a batch of problems for you (and our suffering programmers), we're delaying its upload by a week or so to help ensure that enjoying this issue is as trouble-free as we can make it.

How does this affect us freelancers? For those that are in this issue do they get paid a week later?

I suspect payments will go out this week as "normal." (I'd be more confident in saying that, but sometimes the business office and I cross wires, and I'd hate to make any promises for anyone I'm not in the office with to confirm in person...)

Will there be two releases next week? Whatever was scheduled plus Pyramid or will it bump everything back down the line?

Umm... neither? :-)

We had a "reprint" scheduled for next week; however, presuming Pyramid runs next week, that reprint will just get bumped to the next open slot (which might cause a cascade of the reprints if needed, but which y'all don't care about).

So, Pyramid should run next week; we won't run anything else at the same time, because we don't like competing with ourselves. Anything cool we had coming up is still slotted for its scheduled slot. And "reprints" get shuffled as needed.

Does that all make sense?
