Print on Demand Ogre Book
Just wanted to share a recent experience with Amazon's Print On Demand Ogre Book.
I recently ordered a copy of The Ogre Book from Amazon. I'd previously gotten the Scenario Books 1-3 and Ogrezine I & II from them, so I had an idea of what to expect. I was initially skeptical of the quality of POD items, but have found them to be of good quality. My Ogre Book arrived in a few days, along with another Amazon item. The other item was heavy, with sharp edges. No packing material had been placed in the shipping box, so my Ogre Book arrived with its cover severely dented, gouged and scratched from contact with the other item. I requested a replacement, shipped the damaged book back to Amazon and received a new, pristine copy of The Ogre Book in a few days. I my many years of buying from Amazon, this is the only item that has ever arrived damaged. They resolved the situation promptly. If you are considering POD Ogre items from Amazon, don't hesitate. They're good. |

Re: Print on Demand Ogre Book
Thanks for sharing your (eventually) good experience! It's been really fun for us to be able to make a lot of our older catalog available again.
