Other variants exist for other species of domestic animals. The material component for calling dogs is a leash.

Now I'm thinking of an entire Least Spells Animal College that takes (almost) all spells in the that college and specializes them for cats. Cat-Rouser, Cat-Rider Within, Cat-Speech, Cat Possession, etc.

Redirect Fall Blocking
Redirects a small amount of falling material so that it lands in an empty hex up to 1 yard away from where it would have normally fallen.

The subject of the spell must be a mass of solid or liquid material. It can be cast on animate entities, but only if they are willing.

The spell only affects material which falls by accident, it has no effect on things launched as part of a deliberate attack.

While it can't prevent falling people from falling as a result of a collision or attack, it can be used to control the direction of their fall so that they fall into the hex(es) they currently occupy or an adjacent hex and in the direction specified by the caster.

Falling items can be directed into hexes occupied by inanimate objects, but not hexes occupied by animate beings.

Useful for avoiding accidentally dropped objects or weapons, redirecting spilled food or beverages away from fragile or valuable items, or potentially saving fragile objects.

Cost: 1 to affect up to 5 lbs. of material, 2 to affect up to 50 lbs., or 3 to affect up to 250 lbs. Larger subjects can't be affected.

Minor Housekeeping
Cleans and organizes items within a 1 cubic yard area, such as a backpack, or a small chest or cabinet, just as if the caster had done the work themselves.
Cleaning performed by this spell is minor, and only eliminates a thin layer of dust or other easily removable material. It will not work to remove stains or to clean heavily soiled items.
The spell can only be cast on objects the caster could safely manipulate with their own bare hands.
Cost: 1

Sorry, that's a Greater Transform Chance spell.

Regardless of their actual weight, anvils and grand pianos can always be deflected at no cost.

I like the housekeeping one !

Sure!

If you can control the hex where the target lands, you should also be able to control the subject's rotation as it falls. That also means that you can tweak the rotation of a falling knife so it lands horizontally rather than landing point first and sticking into your foot.

But only if you're a rabbit or roadrunner with the Ridiculous Luck advantage.

Enduring Beeswax Candle
Technology (Fuel) College
Regular
Duration: Permanent
Cost: 4 per pound
Time to Cast: 3 minutes

This spell multiplies the burn time of beeswax candles by 10. This would allow a 1 pound candle to last approximately 40 days. Other versions for different materials would exist, such as tallow.

My logic:
This is a cut-down version of Essential Fuel (Magic p.179). Changing it from a general spell to a single specific item lets it become an IQ/A spell. It has a prerequisite of 6 energy spells, which I interpreted as 6 "steps" and spent 2 steps on the cost, doubling it twice, and the remaining steps on the casting time, doubling it 4 times to 160 seconds and rounding it off to an even 3 minutes.

Seasoning

This spell is actually a series of spells one per spice or herb the flavor of which is known to the caster. Pepper, Salt, Parsley, Nutmeg, Dill, Chives, Ginger, and Mint are the best known forms.

Once the spell is cast on a plate of food the flavor of the spice or herb is infused into the food for one hour.

Although serious enchanters rarely bother with least spells many wealthy people find that having these spells with the Power enchantment is very much worth their while. Providing exquisite meals is a means of building networks of power among the rich and powerful. So the uses of this spell are obvious.
