Some things I'd let "the knowing" do in my game
- Tell the immortal he or someone close to him is in danger.
- Tell the immortal that another immortal is near with additional information like his direction, state of mind and a sort of "finger print" that the immortal can use to identify immortals he's previously met.
- Tell the immortal that another supernatural creator is near.
- Tell the immortal that he'd need silver to kill werewolves, extrapolate this example for other enemies as well.
- Tell the immortal which tunnel his prey has fled down.
- Show the immortal a vision of a far away location where pertinent things are happening.
- Show the immortal a relevant vision of the past or future.
Now of course not all of these things would be equally ease to do and I'd allow the immortal to roll against mediation to invoke any of these abilities consciously with a bonus or penalty for time spent.
