Yes, there was quite a bit new, I should say.

I think I never got more than the first session of the recap done. That would cover about 10% of the first season.

We left our heroes as they were conducting serveillance of an antsy college student by the name of Cornelius Falton, one of the heirs of old man Cornelius E. Rawlings and one who got the PCs interested by leaving some mighty suspicious papers in a dead drop where a Middle-Eastern gentleman later claimed them.

Falton noticed them following him and did some inspired amateur dodging by using the T. The PCs were equal to his trickery and stayed on him, but when he dashed through an almost empty station and behind an automated ticket machine, they were a bit surprised. He was using an old service entrance behind there to get into the unusued tunnels.

Picking a moment when the attendant was busy with some customers, the PCs stealthily followed. A chase in the disused tunnel followed, with the PCs not sure why they were chasing Falton, other than the immortal 'because he is running!'.

Ryan O'Reilly, a former BOP SORT member who worked at a security firm, was hot on Falton's heels as that worthy arrived at a cubby with a steel door. Falton was trying to open the doors, but must have noticed that O'Reilly would reach him before he could. He turned around with a revolver in his hand and fired three shots at O'Reilly. Either luck or skill enabled O'Reilly to flatten himself against the wall and as the reports were still ringing out, he decided that he was close enough to risk rushing Falton. He tackled the smaller man, slammed him against the wall and kicked the pistol away. A short inspection revealed that Falton was unconscious from having slammed into the wall, but O'Reilly didn't feel too sorry for him just then.

The other PCs arrived. Well, O'Connor, former MP, detective in the Boston PD and current PI, and Professor Reynard did. Dick Lawson, Esq., had decided to take things a bit easier and was well behind. Shots ringing out did not encourage him to run to the sound. He gets there eventually, though, asking what in the hell is going on there.

The PCs are breathing heavily (except Lawson, former track star), looking down on the unconscious Falton and about to discuss what their next step is going to be. O'Connor takes out his flashlight and starts examining the area and, naturally, one PC just has to know what's behind the door. That would be the Professor, who is Curious.

Long story short, out come some five people, mostly naked and looking like they might be homeless. Except that their skin isn't just bad, it is covered in cuts, burns and what look like carvings of symbols. At least one of them cannot possibly be ambulatory, as his small intestines are hanging outside his stomach. Two look like they are missing eyes. These unfortunate people attack the PCs, some of them wielding lengths of pipe and 2x4s, others trying to grab. Lawson, at this sight, sets a new record for the 400 meter underground dash.

Bullets wound them normally, but putting two in the center mass does not appear to slow them down any. Fast thinking on the part of the PCs results in O'Connor, O'Reilly and Reynard aiming for their thigh bones, pelvis and shoulders. Once the things are immobilised by breaking the support bones, 2x4s, ice axe and metal pipe are used to batter them into submission. The PCs note that the body goes limp and stops moving at different times for the bodies, some doing so immediately upon taking severe trauma to the head (they also tried head shots), but others not until the body had been almost pulped. All seem to show a total lack of pain, fear or any other human emotions.

After this, the PCs are pretty shaken. They don't stop to check if any more of these things are there, but gather up the unconscious Falton and run back to the side tunnel where they came in. They meet Lawson on the way there, but prove unable to explain to him what just happened. As he is the only one not covered in gore, he will have to precede them into the station and give them a sign when the way is clear (the unconscious body they are carrying does not reduce the chances that anyone who saw them would call the cops).

The gore-covered PCs to their best to appear merely shabby rather than serial-killery, taking off the worst of outer covers, etc. As long as no one gets a clear view of them, they'll be okay. But the station attendant would definitely get a clear view of them. So Lawson, dressed to the nines in his tasteful Italian suit, tall, dark and handsome, walks up to the homely twenty-something girl manning the station on the night shift and start flirting outrageously with her. Within minutes, he has convinced her to leave the empty station unattended for a few short moments and accompany him to the bathroom. The other PCs use the distraction to sneak out and make it to the car lot where one of their vehicles is parked.
