Never ever go unconscious?
I'm building a character for a high powered game that can neither truly die nor ever go unconscious.
What do I need to make someone never go unconscious while alive? I know, for one thing, Doesn't Sleep. Hard to Subdue isn't right because it isn't total immunity, whatever the level. There's also the issue of Unkillable 3 (which the character will have) - you go unconscious at -10xHP. I don't want that. I want the character to remain conscious (albeit obviously still incapable of action or affecting the world in any way) in that state, and I want the character to be consciously able to decide where their fully intact body coalesces rather than the GM. This is okay with the GM (who is me). I get that this may require one, maybe two Cosmic enhancements, just want advice on what level of Cosmic (+50% to +300%... or beyond).

Re: Never ever go unconscious?
Since you as the GM is ok with it, I would just go with the +50% Cosmic Rules Exemption level.

Really, as long as it takes you out of the fight and keeps you from immediately returning to it, you can substitute something else for it if you wanted - i.e. your body shatters into virtual polygons and you're dropped back at the log-in screen and need to go through the character creation process again, which takes a few minutes.... Cosmic +50% on Unkillable 3 seems more than fair really. Since you regain consciousness and your body reforms once you are fully healed, I suppose the other approach would be to take enough levels of Regeneration that you heal back up to full HP in less than a second - that's a level or two beyond Regeneration (Extreme), but only when "dead" is a steep limitation too.

Re: Never ever go unconscious?
I agree with all that my response on the +50% was for choosing where you reform. I interpreted his post to understand that at the -*10 level the character would be conscious but unable to do anything.

Re: Never ever go unconscious?
Choosing where to reappear without limit is *a bit* powerful... infinite range warp basically.
I have suggested cosmic +50% for respawning at the nearest "safe" location. It was likely too cheap but ended not playtested. Perhaps a +50% for being able to set a respawn point in advance would be fair. Imho, Being conscious in limbo/at your respawn point is a 0 points feature of unkillable if you have immunity to unconsciousness. Being able to perceive reality around your dead body while "dead" ("hover mode" in video games) is worth something, not sure how much. Likely worth more the longer you have to wait for respawn, which sort of complicate pricing.
