Default Battlefields Tooling Sample Pics

If you've not yet seen them, we've shared photos of the tooling sample. This is a hefty box!

Looking good! I've got my fingers crossed that I manage to snag one of these.

The vulcan on the back of the box is fantastic.

Archived to check against production samples if we find an error. We can then determine was it something we missed, or something that happened between the two stages.

Eventually, months or years later, archived deep in the warehouse and forgotten.

Hey, you never know. Maybe in another 40 years you'll be digging them back up.

The box artwork looks fantastic!

Can't wait to see what the radars look like punched and assembled. I'm actually [I]almost[I] as excited about those as the new maps. Almost.

I also really like the look of the Ninjas.

This is going to be a great set!

Definitely can't wait to get that one in-hand. I know I'm going to regret ordering only 1

I was just looking at the campaign on Kickstarter again. I'm looking forward to all those maps. :)

To give a personal point of view of the tooling samples:

The only reason I'm getting battlefields is to get the 2 maps previously unavailable for 6th edition. Im not bothered by extra counters, I have too many already.

So please SJG make absolute certain that the scale of the maps is a perfect match for the designer edition maps not just the battlefields to battlefields match. Hex edges should meet right, roads match up, this is exactly the moment to avoid the M1 map edge issue and the 1st edition shockwave scale difference.

And I know Im probably coming across as a bit rude (sorry), and Ive raised map issues before ('he's a mapaholic') and you are probably already dealing with this, but I love the game and want it to be right.
