Very rapid healing and hp over 20
So how do they interact?
"Very rapid healing"'s description says that when rolling for daily recovery, then instead of 1 hp you recover two. "High HP and healing" says that you multiply recovered hp by two when you have 20-29 hp, 3 when you have 30-39 etc. So will very rapid recovery just multiply everything by two? You get to recover 4 and 6 hp respectively for normal hp of 20+ and 30+ Or will it add 1 hp? you'll get 3 and 4 hp in this case. No effect at all? Something else? |

All healing rates double with Very Rapid Healing. Otherwise it's impossible to reconcile its cost relative to Regeneration.

Yeah. So that's 4 HP.
Coincidently, I also play with a houserule that allow someone with 15 HP to regain at x1,5 (round down). Very rapid healing would then give 3. |

Re: Very rapid healing and hp over 20
Would that not be HT and not HP.
What happens if someone is Very Fit with plus +2 HT? Giving that it is Health and not Hits that require healing... |

HP is what gets damaged, HT is what you roll to heal that damage. Very Fit doesn't have anything to do with healing, that's a pure function of base HT. If I get into a car accident, it isn't my immune system that takes a hit, it's my structural integrity.

Re: Very rapid healing and hp over 20
Are you thinking of the 3e rule, where Hit Points were equal to HT? That was one of the significant changes at 4e, where Hit Points equal ST. Which seems odd at first for humans and human-like creatures, but works much better for elephants and rats.

Not by RAW. the bonuses form Fit/Very Fit add to rolls for Healing.

The leaps at the multiples of 10 breakpoints never seemed realistic to me; it seems like it's definitely like that in the rules as a convenience to make the healing calculations easier (and, for most humans, unmodified). It also doesn't scale for smaller creatures.
