Default Deadly Doodles!

Our top game at Gen Con was Deadly Doodles! Here's a new how-to-play video from Bebo.

Hey Phil,
Picked up DD at Origins and been having a good time with all playing it. My players did suggest something and it might be a thought for the next printing if it didn't screw with the cost. DON'T USE BLACK DRY Erase. After the pens finally gave up the ghost we kept the caps but switched to colors other that black so they can be seen easier and went to a fine point(our choice really). I realize the fine point is a cost breaker but maybe the color change so the path doesn't blend into the maze. Just a thought.

Probably have to pick up another set cause 4 players isn't enough. I always seems to have 5 or 6 wanting to play even if I set out. Maybe make it an add on for an upcoming KS/INDIE?

Thanks for listening

We don't recommend Deadly Doodles for more than four players - resolving the traps at the end of the game takes longer and ends up reducing scores considerably. If you have more people who want to play, just play two games.

Still means I gotta get another game....lol. I can see where you're heading with that. "course just pulling one or two of the trap cards could accomplish that I'd imagine also with more than 4(pause for thought). We play with the trick promos also(2). Pace is about the same.

Just watched the video, and have a question [as I don't have the game in front of me to check its book].

"For each trap that hit you"...does that mean a trap your path crosses, or just traps that have been drawn?

A trap laid by another player that is in a square your path crosses.

Played it at Fnordcon. It was a buy-on-sight for me when it shipped.

Kept the other pens to use as erasers as they died off.

Question though , If a TRAP and a TRICK are located on the same square by different people do they affect each other. So far we've decided no.
