Any suggestions?

7th sea is good for a 1-shot. The system has many flaws, but much style. Panache is a primary attribute, and there are well-developed ship rules.

The pirate rpgs I prefer (Skull and Crossbones and the High Seas supplement for Flashing Blades, both from FGU) stand out because of their support for campaign play, not one-shots.
In all seriousness, I would probably use The Fantasy Trip. It's quick, simple, and already has rules for fencing and gunpowder weapons. You'd want to add a pistol and musket, but it wouldn't be hard to extrapolate. Last edited by thrash; 09-19-2020 at 07:27 PM. |

Pirates of the Spanish Main seems like a good choice (savage worlds adapted core rulebook) |
