Re: Hall of Judgment for the DFRPG: Now LIVE!
The Citadel at Nordvorn takes shape!
I've passed 26,000 words on my way to 40,000+. The power-point map will of course not be the final one; I'll hire a proper artist. But I've got about five pages of such maps with details on what's where.

Re: Hall of Judgment for the DFRPG: Now LIVE!
The first 3rd-party licensed product for the Dungeon Fantasy RPG is on sale until I run out (there are only 50 or so copies left) for the same price as the PDF: $12.50.
This doesn’t have some errata fixes, and the maps are the older style instead of the upgraded Glynn Seal maps. Hall of Judgment (1st Edition) softcover print is ON SALE at 50% off I would note that if you're an international customer, don't do this. Pop over to Backerkit and pre-order the 2nd edition, which is maybe a day or two away from fulfillment from the UK.

Re: Hall of Judgment for the DFRPG: Now LIVE!
Summer Session is upon us in our local gaming group in Madison, and we'll be kicking off the campaign set in Nordvorn tonight. As we lose a number of players to various activities, we normally get a campaign with people's kiddos in. Sounds like we're likely to have 4 teenagers playing and about 5 adults. Wish us luck!

Re: Hall of Judgment for the DFRPG: Now LIVE!
Will do. I'm looking at using the published material as setting and then running a number of my own adventures in that space. Characters are at 200 points, and I'm encouraging them to play humans or dwarves. Players are 4 regular players in group and up to 4 teenagers (13-17).

Re: Hall of Judgment for the DFRPG: Now LIVE!
So I'm reading through Hall of Judgement and the texts says relics we're found that can open the hall. These "tiwstaken", what are they? I see that one is the blessed sword, but what is the other?

The tiwstaken is anything the GM desires it to be. I think it was a ring originally. The malicious GM in me can see the benefits of using a 500 lb piece of stone as the tiwstaken....

In an old CoC style homebrew our Characters were dealing with an ancient curse and a mummy... and discovered old scrolls that said "To lay the guardian permanently to rest, place the scarab of [PHAROAH] upon it's chest". So we hunted down the scarab to discover it was a two tonne stone scarab the size of VW Bug... we destroyed the mummy the old fashioned way with dy-no-mite! |

”Tiws” = genitive of Tyr, god of war (English “Tuesday”). “Takn” = symbol (English “token”). So war-token.
