Shakespeare Munchkin - Spirits From the Vasty Deep Clarification
[card text deleted - please read the forum rules]
If this monster is involved in a combat with multiple munchkins, and the munchkins fail to win and fail to run away, do both munchkins suffer the "Bad Stuff" of this card or is the card immediately shuffled back into the deck after the first munchkin suffers the bad stuff? The card does not clarify that the card is shuffled back into the deck after combat is complete, and an argument can be made that it is immediately shuffled back into the deck and the second munchkin in the combat does not suffer the bad stuff. Why would only one munchkin receive the bad stuff when two lost the run away roll? Unless the card states differently, both would have to face the bad stuff. But I don’t know what the card says, so there could be some function on the card that would make what you suggested happen.

In the case of two combatants, you wait until both have done their Run Away rolls against that Monster before shuffling it back into the deck.
