Not a problem at all. Our job is to make games, and this is a part of making games. We want to be sure everyone is clear on what we are making and not cause any confusion.

And as part of "looking at numbers," I've just finished a call with our factory rep to explore options. We think we have a solution; just ironing out a few details.

Re: Hex & Chit Scaling
I am making some *extremely* unprofessional noises about having bigger hexes right now.

I spent some time with our factory rep crunching numbers and measurements. We had to get creative (and eat some margin), but we can make it work.

Re: Hex & Chit Scaling
Well, now I'm confused again
Will the melee and wizard maps stay the same size? Because in another thread i posted some numbers on map sheet and hex sizes and could not get a melee map with hexes larger than 32mm (1.25 in) without increasing sheet size to 17x22 |

We are increasing the map sizes.

Re: Hex & Chit Scaling
Does that also include an increase in the counter size as well Phil, or will they remain at the original size?
Thanks. JK |

Re: Hex & Chit Scaling
I really don't get this. I mean those who wanted 1-1/2" hexes had an option with the playmats available. Now because of what appears to be a very small but also very vocal handful of supporters, those of us who WANT 1" counters for a number of reasons (as I posted on the kickstarter page - I don't have the luxury of a dedicated gaming room or even table, I have a VERY small amount of space to set up my games, which is why I don't get to play the awesome designers edition of ogre - it's just TOO BIG) don't get that option any more.
I hope I don't come across as belligerent, that is not my intention, but I am really displeased with this change, and don't understand why the maps and counters from the melee and wizard basic sets have to be involved in this change to a larger size, when those who DO want the larger size already have that option available with the playmats.
