Yeah, that first part is actually kind of productive, assuming that you encourage righteous aggression and discourage unfounded aggression. It's presented as an antagonistic position, but (assuming that the other party has already acted antagonistically) is actually in the ethical right here. Karate Kid is kind of jarring for both modern liberals and conservatives but works on its own terms.
