Default Power Parry with increased RoF Innate Attack?

New DM here trying to teach myself and my group GURPS as a bit of a change from D&D4E. So far we've been picking things up pretty well, but a lot of the challenge comes from trying to use the rather advanced Avatar the Last Airbender custom campaign setting we found. I have a couple questions, but the only one I can phrase well right now is this:

Power Parry uses your Innate Attack - if that attack has increased RoF, how do you determine how many hits you roll for? Is it still margin of success/recoil, even if the target number is your PP instead of your IA+Talent?

For the sport of Pro Bending, you see a lot of 1-2 punches, combos etc. Would this be better codified with RoF 2 or Extra Attack? The latter would solve the RoF Power Parry issue, but the option for Innate Attacks with increased RoF is there and I'd like to know how it works out.

Thanks for your help!

Welcome!

A power parry is basically an attempt to reduce the damage of an incoming attack ... by attacking the attack. Roll damage normally for a Rapid Fire attack (determine the number of hits based on margin of success and Rcl, then roll damage for each hit separately or roll damage once and multiply by number of hits) and reduce the damage of the incoming attack by that amount. Also, RoF 5+ gives a bonus to hit (p. B373) -- add this to skill before calculating your Power Parry.

Combinations are examples of multiple attacks, which are done with Extra Attack, Rapid Strike, All-Out Attack (Double), and Dual Weapon Attack. A RoF 2+ attack is a single attack, not a combination. See GURPS Martial Arts for a way to build trainable Combinations (p. MA80) and for general information about Multiple Attacks (pp. MA126-128).

Thank you, that was exactly what I needed to know! Luckily that's what I ended up doing with my players anyway.

Another question - if you have Extra Attack, does that let you take an All-Out Defense and then Attack on the same turn? Or does it only mean on turns you attack you can attack more than once?

The later.

Right, the latter.

Despite the fact that the Basic Set says that Extra Attack gives you an additional maneuver in two different places (pp. 43, 54), it has been clarified that it doesn't actually grant an additional maneuver (which would give you another step, for instance), but an additional strike (something requiring an attack roll) and only when you take an Attack-ish maneuver (Attack, All-Out Attack, or Move and Attack -- also Committed Attack and Defensive Attack if you're using GURPS Martial Arts).
