Re: Modern Fantasy legal question
The Fair Folk Host refers to the armies of the Sidhe of Irish myth and the armies of the Alfar in Norse myth. Godlike beings who use magic to shatter the defenses and rout the attacks of more physically inclined entities. They were toned down during the Christian Era because they challenged the concept of the more...straightforward cosmology of Christianity. If a single Sidhe or Alfar was capable of killing thousands of human warriors in a single battle without suffering permanent harm, was immortal, and could use miraculous magic, there would have been questions about the supremacy of the Christian God.
