Resistance: Interrogation

Special forces and intelligence agencies train their agents to be resistant to interrogation. I was thinking using the Resistance mechanic for this - what do you think, base cost 5 or 10?

I'd say Interrogation skill is a base 5, but questioning in general is a base 10.

Sounds reasonable. I guess I should read Social Engineering to see what it says about Interrogation.

Edit: Immunity probably should be cinematic - put anyone under enough stress and they break.

Influence is a base 15 (that being the cost of Indomitable, which is effectively Immunity to Influence). So each specific Influence skill ought to be 10, probably; I think it makes sense to say that Fast-Talk or Savoir-Faire in Occasional rather than Rare.

That might argue that a specific social interaction skill is generally Occasional. So Interrogation would be Occasional.

I think it then makes sense to say that being asked questions is Common (and would include the use of Influence skills to do so, for example).

I've written a bit about techniques for social skills, and those could be Rare. Or very specific uses of social skills could be Rare.

Put another way, being completely able to withstand Interrogation for 5 points, or being able to resist it at +8 for 3 points, seems awfully cheap.
