Re: Perk - use Will to avoid unconsciousness
Don't forget that Will is also used to resist influence skills. I know that this works only indirectly vs. PCs, but the box on B 359 clearly says that you should use the margin of victory resulting from this creatively.

And for Fright Checks. And for trying to do anything at negative FP, which might end up saving your life. And several other things. Will is awesome.

Re: Perk - use Will to avoid unconsciousness
I thought about doing Will the Traveller way, which would be to base will on HT (over on that side of the spaceport they spell HT "End"). Unfortunately HT is just too useful to base Will on, though I really like the idea of somebody holding onto life by sheer willpower.

I have no issues with this perk as it stands, seems suitably flavorful and not overpowered

Re: Perk - use Will to avoid unconsciousness
Why does this need a perk? Just buy enough levels of Hard to Subdue so your HT roll matches your will roll, possibly with [Source: Iron Will; -10%], meaning that anything that reduces your will will also reduce this advantage. Yes, that's more expensive than the perk, but Will is hardly a bad deal even without affecting consciousness rolls.
