Palladium Splicers to Gurps

I'm trying to convert Palladium Splicers to Gurps mostly the Host Armor and War Mounts to play in Gurps Reign of Steel. If you have/know a table or know how to convert plez help.

It's been a while since I looked at Splicers, to be honest, and my book is a thousand miles away in storage. Refresh my memory as to what parts you're looking for?

David Pulver wrote a Pyramid article called bio-mecha that probably civers what you want.. It is in issue 3/24.

That... doesn't help. I can't visualize or help come up with stats if I don't have anything to work from but a name from something I can't look up.

I suspect that Htoad2020 posted more than that, tbrock, but what you replied to was what PK edited it to... Htoad got blocked for three days for advocating illegal activity (which I suspect was too much detail about Palladium's game system... they don't like conversions being on the web and prosecute such things often from what I understand).

Actually, he offered to send me the book via email, which is outright piracy advocacy. I didn't deign to answer him on that, figuring he'd be banned for it

What I was looking for to help him out was a brief description of what the stuff was and what they could do; not a full mechanical write-up, of course, but a general heads-up of stuff. Oh well.

Ah. I came to the thread late and didn't realize that. Perhaps when he comes back he'll describe it in general terms so we can give him some advice on the matter.

They're organic mecha worn by humans mostly. Basically like the Guyver and some similar fictional constructs. The Pulver article I referenced is a definitive source for how to build them in Gurps.

Direct numeri8cal conversions from Palladium stats to Gurps is probably hopeless in this case due to lack of benchmarks. You'd have to decide what you _wanted_ some particular arbitrary Palladium number to mean in the sort of Real world-based numbers Gurps tends to use.

It might make more sense to build the Gurps version to match the art rather than the write up.
