Rossi Revolvers

I have a thrifty character in my upcoming campaign who wants to own a handgun for personal defence, but is reluctant to spend large amounts on something he hopes to never need. He will therefore carry a used revolver from a brand that does not carry the same cachet as Ruger or Smith & Wesson.

I have heard Rossi guns are good value for money. Do these stats look right for them?

A small revolver made for concealed carry, with a 2" barrel. The R641 has a blued finish while the R642 is stainless steel (Cost $350). This weapon is often used with .38 Spcl rounds: Dmg 2d-1, Range 90/1,000, ST 9, Rcl 2.

This is a basic-pattern revolver firing .357 Magnum ammunition. It has a solid sighting rib along the barrel, and is strong enough to fire +P loads. It is made from steel and in the R971 line typically finished blued with walnut grips. The R972 comes with a stainless steel finish and a 6" barrel (Cost: $450). Grips are generally of wrap-around checkered rubber, though wooden grips are also available. It is often used with .38 Special loads: Dmg 2d pi, Range 110/1,200, ST 9, Rcl 2.
