Default [Steampunk] Adventures ?

Are there any GURPS Steampunk adventures?
e23 or community-made?

I'm currently running a Steampunk campaign based on a big-game hunting competition, with a twist of corruption by the local government... But it's pretty much based on my five specific player characters (one extremely rich, a tracker/hunter, etc...), so it might not suit your players. :)

What kind of story are you looking for?
Travel / Exploration
Trade / Merchantile
Espionage
Social Climbing / Dynastic
Scientific Inquiry

You can take most storylines and adapt them to the setting if you want.

E.g. As they are returning by airship from Cairo to London one of the archeological crew is infected by a cursed amulet from a newly uncovered tomb. The scarab beetle burrows into his skin and spends a day or so 'gestating' until the next evening at the dining table it ruptures his thorax from the inside and skitters past the china. Over the next few days it starts killing off the passangers and crew.
This is obviously Alien with a slight veneer of Victorianism. Change a few more details and the story becomes less readily recognizable.

Even better if it was on some sort of spaceship -- so the passengers/crew can't just debark when things get bad.

Getting off an airship alive is hardly a trivial exercise. Even assuming that the ship is under control and over land.

You have me thinking of the last couple of chapters in SM Stirlings Peshawar Lancers.

I would consider a solid-framed, armored and powered vehicle A LOT safer than a floating bag of flammable gas - now invested with flesh-eating scarabs - if they can eat flesh, they can chew canvas!

Focus people FOCUS. It's only an example worked up on the spur of the moment to demonstrate the utility of a grinding wheel applied to serial numbers.

Pick a story you want to tell and recast it in the genera you like, then change the details to keep it from being predictable.

I know they're not for GURPS, but Forgotten Futures has a bunch of free adventures that are Steampunk. Shouldn't be too hard to convert, though that doesn't help you if you want something right out of the box.

To be honest: I´m looking for ideas :)

The Campain should contain to much "high fantasy" elements, no elves of magics. My players are experienced in Cthulhu, so some 40-50 years earler should be easy to use.

I found a german adventure called "Im Dschungel von Zentralafrika" (In the Jungle of Africa). It very "Indiana Jones"-like, but more pulp than steampunk.

I would prefer something like a gaslight-detektive-story with steam-elements.

Lets brainstorm:
- London ~1880 (pre-jack-the-ripper).
- murder mystery
--> poison? (via mechanical spiders)
--> violence? (creation running-wild) --> serialmurder?
--> electricity? (using a tesla-device [too big])
