Yes, I have used NPCs (with my alignment rule) use it. My favorote was the priestess of Aphrodite who possessed Lecherousness (6-) and Xenophilia (6-), and she was a town healer. Another good one was a shield maiden devoted to Freya who possesses Berserk (6-) and Lecherousness (6-), who used her magic to make herself immune to the literal slings and arrows of her enemies.

It worked well in game for you?

(Lecherousness (6)? Jesus, I wonder what her Tinder profile looks like. "Will have sex with anything that moves")

Having a contract with a demon to use Black Magic is a 1-point perk and you can draw HUGE amounts of energy, not sure if that can be represented on the wizard's end.

Maybe it's like buying an ally? But the demon doesn't have an advantage reflecting the ability to loan that energy out

Lecherousness makes you go for those at the higher end of attractiveness based on "availability", this doesn't change with the self-control roll. It also doesn't broaden your preferences in regards to gender on its own.

Of course, the priestess who also had Xenophilia would likely jump anything that wasn't actively hideous and/or hostile.

How do we stat the priestesses who wouldn't be held by by hostility/hideousness either?

Add Blindness [-50] to ignore physical appearance and visual expressions of hostility.

Kind of cheating though.

Xenophilia already applies to things that are hostile and hideous, it’s part of why it’s a 10 point disadvantage.

No, just dangerous, frightening, and strange (it does not ignore reaction modifiers). With Lecherousness (6-), you might have sex with a tentacled alien as long as they were attractive and compatible, but not if it was odorous and hideous (not unless you have been alone for a while anyway). It also provides a welcome bonus to Fright Checks, which is good in horror campaigns.

As for the NPCs, they were fun support characters, especially the shield maiden because she also had a ST 20. She was infatuated with one of the PCs, so she would stay for a while until another individual caught her attention. The priestess was more the de facto leader of a town that the PCs were hired to defend, and she had less to do with them directly.

Maybe "controllable disadvantage" as a perk where you don't have to be entirely blind but only blind to certain sight-based effects?

Or maybe the whole thing is just excessive micromanagement of the character profile. some things can just be left up to roleplay…
