Good point on the cosmic! So, after a bit of revision, how's this look?

Work Damn It! [25]
Affliction Level 1
Extra Life, +380% (Cosmic included for bringing "dead" machines back)

Machines Only, -20% (Same as electrical for %)

Melee Attack: Reach C, -30%
Takes Extra Time, -50% (30 Seconds)
Requires IQ Roll, -10%
Melee Attack: Cannot Parry, -5%

Requires Tools, -10% (They don't have to be the right tools, but you do
need at least a swiss army knife.)

All-Out, -25% (This seems like a nice way to model the fact that you have to be involved in your task. No dodging when your head is under the hood of the car.)

Contact Agent, -30%
Costs Fatigue (-20%; Per Activation, *1), -20%

Takes Recharge 15 Minutes, -25% (I put 15 minutes at -25%, otherwise it was -30 for an hour or -20 for 15 seconds.)

Once per machine, per hour., -10% (So you can't just keep using it on one machine. Call it a cool down period, time for the laser to re-adjust etc. Fits cinematically)

Thanks for adopting my suggestion :)

Final nitpicking: the "one try per one target" restriction is already incorporated in "Cosmic, Works on dead targets". See p.P151.

For all those Final Fantasy fans out there:

Name it Zantetsuken (Iron-cutting sword) for the attack that kills enemies by splitting them in 2.

Zantetsuken is an instant-death attack and cutting foes in twain is a special effect ;)

Wow... cool stuff. What character could do that attack? and which FF was it?

Let's see if I can get the data right out of my memory:

Odin: Any game that features the Odin Summon (I'm sure from FFIV and onwards, FFI doesn't have summons, and I don't know for FFII and FFIII, as I never played them) has his instand death attack called Zantetsuken in the original japanese verion (the american and european versions sometimes omit this)

Raiden: Available in FFVI, as an "upgrade" to Odin, he does the same attack.

Gilgamesh: Available in FFVIII, again as an "upgrade" to Odin, does use Zantetsuken from time to time.

EDIT: Also, some charcters get similar moves, that cause instant kills. The only ones that come to mind right now are the Slash swordtech from Cyan in FFVI and one of the advanced skills for Samurai in FFV.

Zantetsuken is an inta-kill attack, but in some FFs, it deals damage when it doesn't insta-kill. Still, it represents this power rather well ;)

As far as I know, Odin instantly kills minor enemies with Zantetsuken, or does nothing and goes back in front of monsters that are immune to instant death. (In some FFs, Odin can also throw Gungnir for normal damage against such monsters, instead of swinging Zantetsuken.) I'm a bit surprised to hear that in recent FFs Zantetsuken can also inflict normal damage . . .

It might be, my mind is foggy about this, it's been a long while since i played FF games (and I'm pretty oldschool myself, prefering the SNES ones to this 3d crap Square-Enix turns nowdays)

Summon Indestructible Spirit Warrior (+10%/-50%):
Clairsentience (Accessibility, Requires incantations and gestures, -20%; Aware, +50%; Fickle, -20%; Link, +10%; Visible, -10%) [55] + Telekinesis 8 (Accessibility, Requires incantations and gestures, -20%; Fickle, -20%; Link, +10%; Visible, -20%) [20].

Notes: After one minute of ritual, you can summon the "indestructible spirit warrior" (within 10 yards from you), which is composed of a pale-green, incorporeal face and pair of hands floating in the air. As long as you keep Concentrating, the spirit warrior acts as a ST 8 person and shares its sight, hearing and smell with you. The warrior consists of Clairsentience and Telekinesis and can't be damaged due to the lack of HP, but fickle-minded and sometimes doesn't work as desired. 75 points.
