I was wondering how one runs a female Calabim. They seem destined for psycho ultraviolent testosterone laded gangbangers.
But I was wondering how that works for female Calabim, trying to create a character who was not a male calabim with a tight shirt. So, my first thoughts were of "The Ditz" a blonde who, although charming as heck, breaks things in creative and inconvienient ways all the time...including relationships, social constructs etc. Any other takes on that character type? |

Aren't celestials essentially sexless? Also why should any celestial act according to human sexual stereotypes? They aren't even human, but rather alien beings of impressive cosmic power who act according to their choir/band. Aren't they?

While this is true (and that would be the topic of another thread on gender and Celestials) while they are trying to fit into human society, they HAVE to use these stereotypes to at least start informing their actions

The same (non-Kryro/Shedim) celestial can have as many different animal vessels as they can afford after all; male or female, human or other. The vessel is a meat-suit, that can be changed on a whim. |

Never said it did. But consider how the common demon acts? And consider that they want to a) influence people and b) be invisible. They have to start somewhere. Acting against role or gender doesn't help that. Never said women weren't violent. Common? Hmm. Care to guess the ratio of male to female murderers? I'd agree with the last, but Canon says that the Archs and Princes DO have gender. Though at a certain level, it seems changable. |
