buy level = cost a move?
Hi
Can anybody clarify for me if it costs a move token to buy a level with gold/items? I would think not, but to save us from endless discussions it is good to have an external ruling. Thanks, Karina |

Re: buy level = cost a move?
It does not.
As far as I can tell, these are the only things that use move: Moving from room to room (1-3, or all your move for any door) Searching (1 move) Making a Deal (1 move) Trading items (and or gold) for levels is a "do at any time except in combat action" (p.5), just like playing an item from your hand. (If the designers had wanted it to cost a move, they could have easily defined it as a deal that you can make at any time.)
