Default Multiple Monster & Monster Enhancer

Couple quick questions please:

1) I think this question might be obvious - but I tried reading through the rules to clarify. If multiple monsters are in a room (ex. Wandering Monster joins fight) I understand it's the combined levels of monsters - but does each monster get his die role(s)? So - 2 monsters, each with 1 die roll - would mean a total of (2) die rolls correct?

2) I am probably getting regular munchkin mixed up here - but - you can't apply Monster Enhancers to yourself, correct?

many thanks,
Rob

1) Each Monster would get its die rolls. The player who "owns" the Monster rolls for it. "Owning" a Monster means that it has the same color base as your pawn.

2) Not even in the card game could you normally play Monster Enhancers on yourself.

There's nothing normal about that.

I thought there was some rule that Monster Enhancers could be used on self - at 1/2 value - or something like that - must be Munchkin - or a different type of "enhancer".

Regardless - thank you for the response!

I think you're thinking about the Hireling rules; you can play up to +10 in Monster Enhancers on a Hireling for up to a +2 bonus. Munchkin Fu's "Mooks" and the Monk Class are a bit different, but also deal with that issue.

Neither a normal state of being, nor can you use any Monster Enhancer, but the special +3 Enhancers which say they can be played on a Cultist. . .

There's no limit to how much you can play. A +5 gives your hireling a +1 bonus, +10 gives your Hireling a +2 bonus, but there's no rule which says can only play up to +10 worth of Enhancers.

A Mook is allowed one Modifier at full value, normally, but when blending and using Munchkin Hireling rules, I've ruled that extra cards can be played, but any card after the first follows the +5=+1 rule. A Monk can get a one-time bonus during combat from any number of Monster Enhancers.

Perfect example of how somebody can get similar rules mixed up. (Now, if only that perfect example hadn't had to be me....)

Another "multiple monster" question...

What happens when you fight multiple monsters of different color bases? How would a card that gives you an extra die vs monsters of a specific color work in that type of combat?
