Dork Munchkin Pawns
I see that my order of Munchkin Quest and the Dork Tower Miniatures is now shipping (yay!) What I'm planning on doing is painting the Dork Tower minis so that they're primarily the six colours of the Munchkin Quest pawns while still looking like people, and using them instead of the Super Munchkins.
("Why?" C'mon, everybody makes homebrew changes to their games, right? And the Dork Tower miniatures were based on John Kovalic's characters, so this change will look right.) Gilly gets a so-dark-Purple-it's-almost-black paint job, as is appropriate for a Perky Goth. But I'm not sure which colours to paint the other miniatures... Anyone have any suggestions for appropriate MQ colours for the other Dork Tower characters?

Re: Dork Munchkin Pawns
Neat idea! Hrm...
Kayleigh could have grayish-blue armor (none of the other colors are very appropriate for her mini). Matt should be green, obviously. Carson could have tan skin, dark yellow hair, and orange clothing -- the overall effect would be very orange. Ken has to be red. Nobody expects the spanish inquisition! Igor could have a yellow tabard with a black cross.

Excellent suggestions - thanks!
(And I'm glad you like my customization idea...)

Any particular reason you went with the Dork Tower minis instead of grabbing the Munchkin minis?

As a whole purchase the mini's are out of print. But as individual purchase's they are not. http://www.warehouse23.com/search.cg...k_only=&page=5 Near the bottom of that page has the first four, click to next page and at the top you will find the other two. |

Re: Dork Munchkin Pawns
On Order means they have more coming, but they don't know when. I missed out on the box set myself, but finally ordered a set this past summer and had to wait on one or two of them, but they did make it in to me.
