PBEM Registration: Division 5 Lava Dome (NADA Fall Classic)

Ok..

Its time to get this started again.. I want to start hosting a PBEM which I havent done in a long time.

I want to keep it simple, so in order to reduce the paper work on me. car designs must cost no more then 5000. Also, car designs must be submitted using the Mad Hat Car designer Spread sheet. (its the only one I am aware of that works with both excel and Open Office) Also, it allows me to quickly have a look at everything. If you dont have it, I have the most recent copy which I can email to you.

I will be posting the links to the PBEM here to the forums, and it will be hosted on my Website.
I will be accepting no more then 8 drivers.

PBEM RULES:
CWC 2.5 rules only.. no UACFH or other supplements.
Only standard car/truck body types allowed.
No trikes, or bikes.
Drivers will have the Driver, Gunner, and Running Skills. They may have a +1 in one of those.
No hand weapons.
I will be using the alternate jumping rules.
No Gas Engines
*I really recommend fire proof armor!*


Game will last 25 seconds, or until only 1 player is left or until a predetermined score is reached. (8 points)
Scoring:
Total Vehicle Kill (4 points)
First Person to Jump the Lava Pit (4 points)
Every other additional jump (2 points)

Ill confirm a spot when I get a car design.. pvt msg me with your email if you need the MADHAT sheet.

when you say hosted on your site, how will you present the game surface and its changes? Will you be making images showing changes of after each turn or will you be using an offsite vassal map or something? im all over the place with work (US and CAN) so having a surface to see is of interest :) oh...also...ramp angles. and how far is that gap to clear?

anyway, I'd have to review the move/fire process but would relearn quickly as long as someone else is being the arena ref. ill have to jump in anyway sometime if i want to play again and this is about the only way i can do it. div.5 cars will be a challenge in themselves. sounds like fun. if i can, ill do it.

If people do not want to make a car.. they are more then welcome to use the Stinger from CWC 2.5 book and any of the variants.

Well, pretty simple actually... everyone who plays will send me their action for that particular phase. I update the page, then everyone looks at the most current page, and then sends in their orders again... After awhile, you will see a series of pictures.... Its not that hard, really. As long as you got a web browser and an email.. you are good to go..

As for the ramps, its a 30* ramp, and a safe speed to cross can be anywhere between 35-45mph depending on where you car leaves the launch ramp.

thats exactly what i was thinking it might be. ill be able to do this from the phone even. ok sitting down for a design means for me...umm....i wish the subcompacts had 8 spaces....ill just have to get more inventive.

And why is fireproof armor soooooo important ? Wouldn't a Fire Extinguisher work nearly as well ?

The rules for the lave pit... You land in it.. you dead.

Fire proof armor is important, cause someone always takes FCE or FOJs and sure enough.. they got several easy kills.
