Default Chassis & Crossbow, Nova, Painted Target and Cornell Sites

I'm looking over these various sites and finding various useful bits (at least for bikes):-

Manual gearboxes, chassis strength, Rear Wheel Drive, Light Transmission, alternative fuels

Tech levels for power plants

Motorcycle Panniers and top boxes

Mini Superchargers

Ok, I know these aren't sanctioned, but how many of you use them for house play?

Thanks for mentioning you visited my archive of WormSpeaker's Mad Max Rules for Car Wars. I am pleased to know reprinting the files was useful for autoduellists.

Listed below are additional Web sites with Chassis and Crossbow content.

Mark Goldstein's Chassis and Crossbow Variants

SWAT Archived Files - WormSpeaker's JARPS Zone - Car Wars Files

Boneheadz of New Idaho

Painted Target

The NOVA Web site may also have weapons and gadgets for Chassis and Crossbow games. I recommend looking in the Nightmessenger Archive and in the Supplements section.

New Omaha Vehicular Association (NOVA)

You will have to work on converting the rules to Car Wars, but you will find many items in several of the professionally-published RPG books on the following page.

SWAT HQ - Automotive Combat Tabletop Game Systems

The Sand Surfers from Warlands would be great vehicles in Chassis and Crossbow games. The collectible miniatures game KRASH may also have a few low-tech weapons and accessories.

Hiya

apologies for coming back so late, I'd completely forgotten about this one as real life interrupted.

Much appreciated for the links and I'd also add Mutant Zone in one of the ADQ's, as a more "official" variant.

But does anyone else use these various House rules, as they do seem to be a bit useful?
