New to board; scored big win on minis find!

Hi, all. I'm new to this board, but not really new to Ogre. Been playing for many years (when I can; getting harder to find time!), and am an avid miniature painter. I do some painting for Reaper miniatures, and am a mini artist for Catalyst Game Labs (I "work" for CamoSpecs Online as a painter).

I'll get some pics of my Ogre stuff to share, but had to crow a bit about a fantastically lucky find. A lady emailed me after seeing my website and asked if I could tell her where to sell a bunch of miniatures. She had a mixed bag of Ogre and Battletech stuff. When I saw the list, I snapped up the Ogre stuff right off. It's a big box of new, still in the pack minis...including all the old resin buildings (laser towers, laser turrets, com stations, jamming screens, hardened CP's, etc), and lots of other stuff including a Mk V, Mk III, and Fencer. I was MOST pleased! I haven't even seen any of those old resin parts in years; let alone still new in the pack (and I didn't remember that each pack had two, so even better). Can't wait to paint 'em!

Wow, that is a nice score, especially the old resins. Lucky guy! Can't wait to see them all painted.

Thanks, all! Yeah, I'll post pics when I get a few taken. Quite a few minis to do. I like to do unusual Ogres and give them names and fun background stories. I liked the notion from the Ogre Miniatures book that Ogres, being self aware, gave themselves names and paint schemes. So, I have Ogres like "Uncle Sam" and "The Green Goblin" with appropriate schemes to match. Fun stuff.
