Default Demon Blood

Scholars hope that the Demon Blood aren't related to the known demons, but various religions have their own views on this.

The Demon Blood fit in the same broad category as Vampires and Werewolves, but the affliction is purely hereditary, with no known cure. Every Demon Blood who's tried a greater wish to get rid of their curse has died on the spot.

A Demon Blood is human, with the faint differences scholars can detect. They all have a one point curse as per the spell at ITL 25 that they can't get rid of. In addition this also takes effect on any spell that has the victim as the subject (mostly thrown spells, but not missile spells.) Since any 19 on a spell casting roll causes an explosion very few of the Demon Blood bother to become wizards or learn spells or survive long if they do. This interference in spells also applies to long term effects. No further curse (or charm) has any effect on them and they get a 5/(base IQ) roll per day to escape from a shapeshift or cursed item. This even applies to freeze or sleep items. Their curse even applies to all reaction rolls as people get bad vibes from them.

They only regenerate one hit per minute and take double damage from silver. (Which they don't regenerate from. They do regenerate from fire and acid damage.) They start with two more ST than a normal human.
