Default Statting heroes, villains, and monsters

In, this thread, enelsonmo mentioned statting Aragorn, Shelob, and Elric. The idea intrigues me, so how would you stat those heroes and that monster?

How about Conan or Solomon Kane? What about Legolas and Gimli? Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser?

This is a fun topic! Everyone loved 'Giants in the Earth' for a reason. But I'm holding off until we see the new rules, as I think they will radically change the way you would approach iconic heroes. I suspect for the better. Under original rules, Elric, Conan and the Grey Mouser might end up looking frustratingly similar as one ratcheted up all the stats to match all the powers you imagine they each have. There is a reason people have often felt that highly powerful characters are much of a sameness in the old rules. But when they all have to conform to the 40 point limit you need to make some tricky choices, and these three will end up being quite different from each other.
