Well, that reflects taking the opening given to you instead of picking your shots. If you get the foot, that's what was exposed, for the reasons I suggested.

If some one was to kick and I throw an elbow and they meet someplace in between. Is more what I was talking about. not a move to counter a kick. I did say interrupt but not that it was meant to be an actual interrupt. More like his attack getting the better of the opponents actions.
Personally I don't use random hit location. I was just giving another way to interpret the result. Since it really is rather odd thing for any trainer fighter to do. I'm sure an elbow drop to the foot would hurt like hell, And funny as hell to watch. But would not be my first choice.
