Absolutely! Point-shooting isn't undirected, it just isn't directed using the sights. Imagine a late 19th century gunfighter against a charging mounted foe (perhaps a Commanche warrior) and firing at near point blank range, do you suppose he cannot direct his shots into the horse's skull or the rider's chest by choice but must accept a random hit on either man or horse? What if he's shooting at a stagecoach? Should he not be able to distinguish between the driver and a cartwheel? If it's possible for the point-shooter to do so in these cases, why not a standing man's chest?
